FA DRAWS ANNOUNCED In the first qualifying rounds of both the FA Cup and the FA Trophy, the Wands have received interesting draws. On 12 September 2009 they will travel to the winners of Fleet Town -v- Walton & Hersham in the FA Cup, whilst on 17 October 2009 the FA Trophy sees Cray entertain the winners of the Burgess Hill Town -v- Dulwich Hamlet tie. DYNAMIC DUO RE-SIGN FOR CRAY (27 June) Chairman Gary Hillman this afternoon confirmed that both Leigh Bremner and Michael Power have signed on the dotted line for Cray's first venture into the Ryman Premier League. Cray Wanderers Football Club are pleased to announce that, after nearly 40 years away from their spiritual and ancestral home, they have secured a 17-acre site upon which to build a new ground. Club Chairman Gary Hillman, speaking to Trevor Mulligan, said: “We have been actively looking for over ten years for a site in the Cray area that we feel creates the right infrastructure to sustain a new ground.” More...
